Social Issues Posters
Silence has a Price aims to remind the viewer that they have a responsibility to protect the sanctity of free speech. The design was conceptualized and executed in response to my friends' experiences during the 2008 Republican National Convention.
You is a typographic arrangement stressing the importance of self-esteem and self-reliance in life. It is inspired by Greek columns and seeks to use a serif uppercase "I" to emulate the stability and support implied by those classical structures. The type above the uppercase "I" is left deliberately unstable to imply the ever-changing nature of these elements in one's life; only one's own self remains a constant.
Both posters were created during my Senior year.
